Our client, a consumer products company, is looking for a Finance Manager to manage the various discount and rebate programs.
Responsibilities include overseeing financial sales activities, managing key customer relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, guiding a financial sales team, and overseeing key accounting processes. This position works closely with the Controller.
• Design, implement, and manage customer rebate, commission, and incentive programs with a focus on margin preservation and profit growth.
• Monitor and adjust programs based on profitability analysis, ensuring alignment with gross margin targets and corporate financial goals.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of rebate and commission programs, from setup and approval to payout and reconciliation.
• Work with sales and finance to ensure all incentive programs are financially sound, scalable, and clearly documented.
• Manage payment processes and ensure accurate and timely execution of earned rebates and commissions.
• Collaborate with Pricing and Sales teams to evaluate customer-level pricing structures and ensure they complement incentive programs.
• Partner with accounting to ensure accurate accruals, forecasting, and compliance with internal controls.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reviews focused on customer program performance.
Ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles.
Highly analytical, can manipulate data, creates reports to be used by management for future planning.
