Job DescriptionDescriptionTeleSolv Consulting has multiple openings for a Mail Clerk to support a federal government agency in New York, NY.
- Prior experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support roles
- Experience supporting Government operations or high‑volume documentation environments
Responsibilities:
- Route messages, packages, and mail to internal departments and Government entities
- Sort and open incoming and outgoing mail
- Meter outgoing mail accurately and efficiently
- Obtain receipts for delivered articles and maintain detailed logs
- Update mail logs and required Government systems
- Scan and process large multi‑page documents
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Strong reading comprehension in English
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes
- Competence operating mail‑handling and scanning equipment
- Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in logging and documentation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance through the Government
- Ability to lift and carry 45 lbs. or more
- Ability to perform bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching in a physical work environment
