The Opportunity

As our Market Growth Lead in NYC, you'll own an entire territory and be responsible for establishing Peak as the reservation platform of choice. This isn't just a sales job—you're building something. Think of yourself as the "mayor" of Peak's NYC operation.

You'll drive the complete sales cycle: identifying target restaurants, building relationships with owners and GMs, conducting demos, negotiating deals, and closing partnerships. If you have a proven sales track record and understand NYC's hospitality landscape, this role offers significant autonomy and upside.

What You'll Do

  • Own NYC: Build Peak's presence in your territory from day one, targeting high-value full-service restaurants

  • Hunt and close: Prospect, qualify, pitch, and close deals—you'll manage the entire sales cycle

  • Be in the field: Spend 5 days per week meeting with restaurant decision-makers across the city

  • Build relationships: Develop strong partnerships with restaurant owners, GMs, and hospitality groups

  • Drive results: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Manage your pipeline: Keep HubSpot updated and maintain a healthy funnel of qualified opportunities

  • Be strategic: Develop territory plans, identify key accounts, and create innovative approaches to break into the market

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota

  • Restaurant and/or hospitality industry experience—you understand the business and speak the language

  • NYC market knowledge preferred—existing relationships are a major plus

  • Hunter mentality: You thrive on prospecting, outreach, and closing new business

  • Self-sufficient: Comfortable working independently and building something from scratch

  • Strong communicator: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to connect with C-level decision-makers

  • CRM proficiency: Experience with HubSpot or similar sales tools

  • Results-driven: You love the pressure of targets and the reward of crushing them

Ideal Candidate:

  • SaaS sales experience, technology, or services to restaurants, hospitality, or retail

  • Knows NYC neighborhoods and has dined extensively across the city

  • Has experience opening new territories or markets

  • Brings a network of restaurant contacts to leverage

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)

Commission: Uncapped commission structure with realistic first-year OTE of $120,000 - $140,000+.
