Key Responsibilities:
- Own the month-end close process for multiple legal entities.
- Prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze P&L fluctuations.
- Support external audits and assist with tax filing requirements across various jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with FP&A to prepare budget-to-actual and variance analysis reports.
- Contribute to the research and application of accounting policies.
- Assist with the implementation of new systems and internal control procedures.
- Provide training and coaching to staff accountants.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong grasp of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience working with external auditors or in public accounting is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, professional, and detail oriented.
