Primary Focus:

The Estimating Administrator is an integral part of the Estimating team, ensuring that estimates are reviewed accurately. They are a well-organized individual who has second-to-none attention to detail. They are comfortable working in a support role and learning from their team members through collaboration, mentoring and on-the-job training. What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Assists Estimators with the development and review of estimates and proposals
  • Obtains, prepares and organizes bid packages for submittal; Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail to minimize errors
  • Sources and communicates with subcontractors for pricing for each project; Responsible for pairing quality subcontractors with budgets
  • Requests and manages bid bonds from bonding company; Maintains accurate files and helps update the estimating bid log
  • Develops relationships with subcontractors to help ensure availability for future projects
  • Performs site visits with clear direction to document conditions, take pictures and gather notes
  • Completes Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests
  • Performs general administrative support and coordination for estimating team as needed


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Working knowledge of construction estimating is preferred but not required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to draft, review and explain cost analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional attitude
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a team as well as independently
