Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team as a Server at Carmella's Wine Bar. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service, creating an inviting atmosphere, and ensuring our guests have a memorable experience. You will work closely with our founder and Sommelier who will educate and bring out the best in every employee. With extensive, fun, and interactive trainings and classes, you will have the opportunity to learn from one of the wine industry's best while enjoying a dynamic and engaging environment.
Pay: $10.35 - $29/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Provide efficient, friendly guest service to 3-6 table sections
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on our wine selections, cocktails, and food, enhancing the guest experience.
- Take and process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining areas and wine storage.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, encourage feedback, and foster a sense of community.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your knowledge of wine, cocktails, and food pairings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting preferred, but not required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
- A passion for wine, cocktails, and service, with a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
