WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal Private Client Advisor will serve the companys top-producing clients by delivering high-touch, personalized service to an assigned portfolio. In this role, you will proactively curate tailored product sets and exclusive offers aligned with each clients interests and needs. A successful candidate will bring deep, current knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and vintages, with particular expertise in top-tier producers and collectible wines. You will be organized, driven, and motivated to provide a truly customized service and sales experience for our VIP clientele. If you are a self-starter with strong customer service skills, market awareness, adaptability to new technologies, and a willingness to be accountable for results, we want to hear from you!
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop lasting consumer relationships through exceptional client service.
- Grow and maintain a broad client list by continuously pursuing new and existing leads.
- Create daily, timely, and customized content based around a constantly changing market.
- Use proprietary analytics to identify product and client opportunities.
- Actively manage all aspects of a clients account needs from sales to shipping and everything in between.
- Work effectively with a diverse buying team to coordinate sales efforts.
- Creatively sell a depth of inventory.
- Be an agent of innovation within the company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of foreign and domestic fine wine.
- First-hand knowledge of the consumer market for fine wine and spirits.
- Ability to sell through educated, candid advice and by making genuine connections.
- The mindset to provide an uncompromising level of service.
- 3-5 years of experience in fine wine, sales, and account management.
- Analytical and proactive approach.
- A proven background in learning new technologies.
- Fluency in standard office software, e-mail marketing platforms.
- Understanding of K&Ls brand, strengths, and business model.
- The perseverance to enjoy a challenge.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform desk-based work for all or the majority ofan 8-hour workday.
- Ability to concentrate on individual tasks and make and receive phone calls in an open plan office environment.
- Dexterity to enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard and to operate standard office equipment.
- Visual acuity to review text and images on a computer screen.
