Job Type: Full-time (Exempt, salaried)
Store Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Schedule: Biweekly rotation (Week 1: 6 days, Week 2: 4 days) – enjoy a long weekend every other week!
Base Salary: $62,400 per year + commissions & bonuses

Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Greet customers in the showroom, engage with them to understand their needs, and assist in selecting premium home appliances that fit their lifestyle, ensuring a positive, upscale shopping experience.
- Product Expertise: Develop and maintain expert knowledge of our appliance lineup. Guide clients through product comparisons, explain features and benefits in easy-to-understand terms, and confidently answer questions to help them make informed decisions.
- Sales Performance: Meet and strive to exceed your personal sales targets while contributing to the store’s overall success. Follow up on leads and customer inquiries to turn interested shoppers into satisfied Appliance World customers.
- Showroom Maintenance: Help keep our showroom clean, organized, and inviting. Make sure product displays are tidy and up-to-date, so customers enjoy a welcoming environment that reflects our luxury brand image.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on the latest appliance trends, new product releases, and industry developments. Attend trainings and team meetings to continually sharpen your product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience: 1+ years of experience in customer service is required. (Prior retail or sales experience is a plus.)
- Communication & Detail-Oriented: Excellent interpersonal skills – you are friendly, attentive, and can communicate clearly. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework or a degree is an advantage.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a retail schedule, including weekends and some holidays. (You’ll benefit from our rotating schedule that gives you a long weekend every other week!)

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the sales floor each day.
- Ability to safely lift and move items up to 50–75 lbs occasionally (with assistance if needed).
