Public Relations & CSR Specialist (Temporary)
Role Overview
To expand our brand visibility and commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), this temporary position focuses on enhancing brand awareness through strategic public relations and social media outreach. The role combines storytelling, analytical insights, and stakeholder engagement to promote our CSR efforts in alignment with overarching business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Promotion
- Drive Awareness: Promote CSR initiatives through PR and social media while maintaining a sharp focus on business objectives and brand reputation.
- Sales-Oriented Mindset: Align social responsibility with business impact, ensuring initiatives support the organization's bottom line.
- Content Excellence: Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications to deliver polished, executive-ready content for internal and external stakeholders.
Project Ownership & Execution
- Initiative: Proactively lead projects with a self-starter mentality, ensuring high attention to detail and timely delivery.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to execute conferences, trade shows, press interviews, and media-driven events related to CSR or brand strategy.
- On-Site Engagement: Conduct professional showroom tours for visitors and stakeholders.
Research & Analytics
- Vetting: Research and vet charitable organizations to ensure full alignment with corporate brand values and CSR strategy.
- Insights: Support the Director by preparing agendas and performing in-depth research/analytics derived from press releases and media coverage.
- Strategy Support: Help develop and execute a comprehensive social media/PR strategy to amplify showroom usage and CSR reach.
Administrative & Collaborative Support
- Corporate Calendar: Coordinate with key managers to maintain a unified calendar aligned with all public-facing activities.
- Facility Optimization: Support the Showroom Project team in expanding facility usage for both internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in CSR, Public Relations, and Social Media management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Communications, Marketing, PR) or equivalent experience.
- Skill Set: Exceptional writing and copyediting skills; proven event management experience is a significant plus.
- Attributes: High-level executive presence, analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently.
