Role Overview
Epicured is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, month-end close activities, and financial process improvements. Tthis role will ensure accurate financial reporting, timely reconciliations, and adherence to Epicured’s accounting standards.
This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented and analytical, with strong organizational skills and a passion for improving processes and building a reliable financial foundation.
Key Responsibilities

Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and customer collections.

Oversee vendor payments and accounts payable processing.

Perform daily accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.

Monitor customer accounts for variances, irregularities, or non-payments.

Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Prepare and post journal entries; analyze account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Assist with financial reporting system updates, process documentation, and workflow improvements.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and participate in ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.

Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and thorough; able to manage multiple deadlines.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across Finance, Operations, and Leadership.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with QuickBooks Online, ERP systems, or accounting software.

Background in a high-growth or operationally complex environment.

Interest in process automation and system improvements.
Compensation & Benefits
