Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: 3-5 years in accounting, ideally within a startup or small accounting team environment.
- Skills: Proficient in managing accounts payable and receivable, month-end close processes, and operational finance.

THE ROLE
Were looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team as our second dedicated accounting hire. You will be responsible for managing financial operations across our portfolio of 300+ parking facilities.
Your day to day work will include spending time with our regional operations team to understand our business on a more granular level and spending time with our accounting/finance team to improve our back office processes, maintaining accurate reporting, and improving our AP & AR functions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO ️
- Month-End Close: Own the month-end close process across our property portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Operational Finance: Oversee property-level financial performance, including property P&L preparation and financial analysis.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: Every month we receive hundreds of invoices and collect thousands of payments, youll help us to manage and optimize AP/AR processes to ensure we are efficient and accurate.
- Expense Management & Cost Control: Analyze spending trends across our property portfolio, identify cost-saving opportunities, working alongside the Operations Team to enhance operational efficiency.
- Parking Tax Compliance: Support monthly reconciliation, filing, and payment of parking taxes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Optimize financial workflows to support our growing business needs. Many of our accounting processes are still manual today - we will look to you to help us improve them!
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or public accounting experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience managing multi-location financial operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and take ownership of finance functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and expense management tools.
