A Door-to-Door Credit Card Processing Sales Representative is responsible for generating new merchant accounts by directly visiting local businesses and offering payment processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients by canvassing businesses in person (cold door knocking)
- Introduce business owners to payment processing and POS solutions
- Ask to review current processing statements to identify savings
- Present simple, value-focused offers to business owners
- Overcome objections and build trust face-to-face
- Close new accounts and collect onboarding paperwork
- Follow up with interested prospects in person, by phone, or text
- Build long-term relationships to generate referrals
- Manage daily territory and activity independently
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
