Job Description
WHERE WE RESPOND
Our Paramedics staff fully equipped ALS ambulances that respond to the Towns of Kinderhook, Stuyvesant, and parts of Chatham, Stockport, and Ghent. We also provide non-emergency transports from local hospitals to specialized care facilities across the region, helping ensure continuity of care for our patients.
A NEW WAY TO SERVE
We’re proud to introduce our new dynamic fly-car system in the Town of Schodack, giving Paramedics the opportunity to operate independently alongside BLS transporting ambulances. This innovative model allows you to work at the top of your scope, make critical decisions, and deliver advanced care directly where it’s needed most.
In addition, our ALS intercept operations respond from our base in Valatie to emergency calls in southern Rensselaer County, providing ALS coverage to BLS agencies and life-saving interventions to residents in those communities.
WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive pay and great benefits
Choice of Health Insurance Plans
Paid time off and 3% retirement match
Opportunities to grow and participate in community programs
Supportive leadership and clinical team
Schedule: 40 - 48 Hours/Week (8 hours of built-in overtime)
Shifts: 6 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours
