Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Niagara Falls, New York. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with experience in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial processes. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to essential accounting operations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain and update financial records.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining organized and accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Collaborate with team members to support daily accounting operations and special projects.
• Monitor and manage expense reporting, including processing reimbursements through systems such as Concur.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and company procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.• Proven experience working with accounting software systems, such as CaseWare or Concur.
• Strong knowledge of core accounting functions, including accounts payable.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
