We are looking for a Capital Markets Associate to join our team! This role is responsible for supporting and executing capital markets, financing and M&A transactions by leading financial analysis, due diligence, and deal execution processes, while serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Day-to-day duties include assisting in all capital market, financing and M&A activities by leading diligence process, financial/credit analysis, and deal processing for multiple, simultaneous processes.
  • Be the liaison with bankers, lawyers, rating agencies, and internal teams to execute mission-critical transactions.
  • Interface with and prepare presentation materials for senior executives and investors, including regular updates and review of strategic/capital initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a financial model with the ability to run various financing and operating scenarios.
  • Analyze operational results and portfolio data to assist in management decision-making and capital formation.
  • Perform other related duties or special ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets, M&A, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
  • Preferred candidate is based in New York City for an on-site role.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to build and maintain dynamic models for various financing and operational scenarios.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent deal processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience interfacing with senior executives, external partners (e.g., bankers, lawyers, rating agencies), and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to prepare and present materials to executive leadership and investors.
  • Experience analyzing portfolio data and operational performance to support capital strategy and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of capital formation strategies, debt/equity structures, and strategic financial planning is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
  • Ability to handle ad hoc assignments and rapidly shifting priorities with minimal supervision.
