This opportunity is for a dedicated Registered Nurse experienced in step-down care, providing critical support in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license with step-down nursing experience
- Proficiency in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to perform pushing, pulling, and lifting tasks safely
- Strong skills in patient assessments and developing care plans
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable working within established patient-to-nurse ratios: 3:1 in step-down units, 5:1 during day shifts, and 7:1 during night shifts
Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive and comprehensive nursing care tailored to step-down patients
- Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to inform care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
