Job Description:
Introduction to Religious Studies offers a critical examination of the essential dimensions of religious experience across a wide variety of faith traditions. The course emphasizes:
- Shared themes and practices across global religions
- The influence of religion on contemporary societal values
- The ethical responsibilities of individuals in a global context
Requirements
- A graduate degree (MA or PhD) in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field; or current enrollment in a Religious Studies/Theology PhD program
- A demonstrated commitment to teaching and student engagement
- Prior teaching experience in higher education is strongly preferred
