Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) / Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Location: Queens (Various Locations available)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and empathetic LMSW or LMHC to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the pediatric and youth population, providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services. This role requires a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, as well as the ability to collaborate with families, schools, and other community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities.
- Advocate for the mental health needs of clients within the community.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure as an LMSW or LMHC in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, play therapy).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or another language commonly spoken in New York City.
