Associate, Advisory Latam w/ BNP Paribas Securities Corp. in NY, NY. Origination & execution of hi-profile mergers & acquisitions transactions across Latin America. Position reqs a Master's deg (U.S. or Foreign Equiv) in Fin, Bus Admin, or rel field & 4 yrs of exp in Mergers & Acquisitions. Must have 4 yrs of exp supporting origination & leading successfully the execution of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions. Must have 3 yrs of exp w/ the following: advanced know of the energy & infrastructure M&A sector dynamics & regulation in Latin America; M&A deal making exp demonstrated by the successful close of at least 5 M&A transactions across at least 3 different sub-segments of the Latam energy & infrastructure sectors; & strong financial modelling capabilities & advanced know of corporate fin theory. Must have 2 yrs of exp w/ the following: delivering presentations to sr execs (board members, C-suite, fund partners); & training & mentoring a team of at least 4 jr profl's. Full proficiency in Spanish reqd. *Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed w/in normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas Securities Corp. office in NY, NY. 10% Domestic & internat'l travel reqd to Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, & Paraguay.
