Salary: $130,000 - $225,000 per year

Job Details
- Provide domestic and international tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and real estate investors
- Advise clients on sales, exchanges, leases, refinancing, and tax implications of complex property transactions
- Handle IRC §1031 tax-free exchanges, installment sales, sale-leasebacks, and long-term lease agreements
- Draft and review agreements and tax-related documentation for business and investment transactions
- Counsel clients on tax-free reorganizations, exchanges, business transfers, and restructurings
- Collaborate with colleagues across practices to address multi-disciplinary tax and business issues
Qualifications:
- J.D. and licensed to practice in New York
- LL.M. in Taxation required
- 1+ years of relevant tax experience - we are open to all levels
- Strong background in domestic and international tax planning, real estate taxation, and business restructurings
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses preferred
