Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Compensation: $154,000 $205,000 base + bonus eligible

About the Opportunity
A nationally ranked Am Law 100 firm is hiring a Senior Manager, Editorial to join its high-performing marketing and business development team. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring editorial quality, consistency, and strategic alignment across all firm communicationsfrom thought leadership and attorney bios to internal memos and digital campaigns.
Youll report directly to the Editorial Director and collaborate cross-functionally with attorneys, marketing leadership, and practice group teams to refine the firms voice across internal and external channels. This is a fast-paced and high-visibility role ideal for a seasoned editorial professional who brings precision, judgment, and a strong understanding of legal marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and review a wide range of content (alerts, pitches, bios, rankings, internal comms) for clarity, tone, and adherence to AP and firm-specific style
- Maintain editorial consistency across digital and print channelsincluding web content, event materials, and social media
- Collaborate with Marketing, BD, and practice groups to support storytelling and brand cohesion
- Develop and implement firm-wide editorial standards and processes
- Draft original content when needed, ensuring messaging aligns with firm priorities
- Manage timelines, workflows, and content calendars for multiple concurrent projects
- Serve as a key editorial quality control checkpoint across firm communications
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in editorial, communications, or marketing roleslaw firm or professional services experience required
- Mastery of AP style and strong editorial judgment
- Proven experience managing high-volume, high-stakes content pipelines
- Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and seniority levels
- Bachelors degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Experience with content management systems and digital publishing platforms
