Responsibilities:
- Manage and approve payroll for domestic and international employees.
- Conduct audits and reconcile payroll data.
- Supervise and develop staff, resolve employee issues.
- Process payrolls as needed.
- Oversee payroll system upgrades and configuration changes.
- Implement system and process improvements.
- Collaborate with HRIS for effective integration and HR processes.
- Administer collective bargaining agreements and ground staff payroll items.
- Ensure compliance with IRS, state, and local mandates.
- Submit, code, and approve payroll-related invoices; review journal entries.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for Accounting and HR.
- Create ad-hoc payroll reports.
- Review year-end W2s for accuracy.
- Handle tax inquiries and set up new tax jurisdictions.
- Respond to payroll inquiries promptly.
- Update SOX narratives and payroll process documentation.
- Collaborate with various business units to resolve issues and provide payroll support.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of multi-state payroll experience.
- Experience with Ceridian-Dayforce and Workforce Management preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience with system integration, project management, payroll functions, and controls.
- Ability to provide professional customer service with accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
