Office Manager – Construction Industry
Cedar Park Group

Cedar Park Group is recruiting an experienced Office Manager to support daily operations for a construction client. This role is central to keeping the office organized, supporting field teams, and ensuring administrative processes run efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing scheduling, customer communication, billing support, and compliance tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.


Schedule / Shift

Monday–Friday
Day shift (standard business hours)


Responsibilities

Administrative Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure efficient workflows
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • File and manage service records, permits, and job documentation

Customer Service & Scheduling

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients (phone, email, in-person)
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician calendars
  • Follow up with customers regarding service completion and concerns

Billing & Accounting Support

  • Generate and send invoices in a timely manner
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records
  • Support certified payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and basic bookkeeping

HR & Compliance Support

  • Maintain employee files and assist with onboarding
  • Track technician certifications and compliance (EPA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Support time-off tracking, training coordination, and performance documentation

Project Coordination

  • Assist with job quotes, proposals, and permit applications
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on materials and job status


Requirements

Required:

  • 3+ years of office management experience
  • Prior experience in construction or a trade-based environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with office software and scheduling tools
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Preferred:

  • Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Familiarity with certified payroll processes
