Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Travel & Expense Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with expertise in corporate expense management, reconciliation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of travel and expense processes while providing exceptional support to employees.

Responsibilities:
• Review and approve employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards.
• Conduct audits of receipts and supporting documents to identify errors, fraud, or non-compliance.
• Resolve issues related to duplicate or incorrect transactions, working directly with employees to correct and resubmit reports.
• Perform regular reconciliations of corporate card transactions, ensuring all charges are accurately categorized and accounted for.
• Address discrepancies in transaction feeds and resolve unmatched or missing data in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot system integration issues between Concur and the financial institution, collaborating with IT and external vendors for resolution.
• Manage the corporate card program, including issuing cards, deactivating inactive accounts, and enforcing policy compliance.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding travel and expense policies, system support, and report statuses via a centralized mailbox.
• Analyze travel and expense trends by generating reports, supporting month-end close activities, and preparing accrual reconciliations.
• Contribute to process improvements by recommending updates to policies, workflows, and system configurations.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in travel and expense analysis or similar accounting/finance roles.
• Proficiency in Concur and corporate card programs, preferably with a well-known provider.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce T& E policies and audit expense reports effectively.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Team-oriented approach with a focus on providing support and collaboration.
