Quality Assurance Specialist
We have an exciting opportunity to become a Quality Assurance Specialist at a well-established beverage company. As the Quality Assurance Specialist, you’ll be supporting our production operations and helping to drive the company’s success across the nation. In this leading role, you’ll work to ensure our products meet all food safety standards, product quality and work directly in the design of CAPEX projects. Location: Greater Rochester, NY region
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier management, including regular audits of our suppliers, haulers and manufacturing partners
- Daily supporting processes to ensure that the production department functions optimally- second line troubleshooting
- Provides quality control results timely, analyses results and proposes improvements
- Oversees raw material specification database up to date, contact suppliers. Audit suppliers when relevant
- Monthly reporting, handling complaints and analysis of information
- Facilitates, performs and reports audits with customers, suppliers, manufacturing partner and bottlers, follow up on actions
- Writes the Customer complaint Investigation report based on investigation.
Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Do-It-Yourself mindset to improvement projects
- Understanding of Hypothesis, analysis, conclusion, decision and implementation
- Capital project experience strongly preferred
- 2+ years of Dairy experience
- Proven knowledge of Emulsion products and/or Dairy components
- Collect data and report on quality parameters for Projects together with the Project manager
- Experience in working closely with Operations is preferred
- Audit experience is preferred
- Conceptual thinker
- Likes to work in a small team where he/she can have big impact
