Job DescriptionSupervisor of Accounts Payable
Medford, NY
Our client is a mid-sized, consumer products corporation that is in search of someone to manage their Accounts Payable function. It is a small team of 2 so this is a very hands-on, high-volume role. Qualified candidates will have prior accounts payable experience as well as an ability to multi-task well, supervise staff and communicate well with all levels of employee and company vendors. They also offer a comprehensive benefits package including company health insurance, 3 weeks of PTO, 401k match and profit sharing! This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary range of $70,000 to $75,000, this position is hybrid, 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home once up and running, will need to be in 5 days for the first 1-2 months.
Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Manager position include:
· Manage a staff of 1 in a high-volume, 3 way match environment
· Work closely with the CFO of the corporation
· Handle full cycle accounts payable processing and reporting
· Assess and improve upon processes to maximize efficiency
Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree preferred, but not required
· 5 or more years of accounts payable experience, 2 years of management required
· Consumer products industry preferred, inventory matching experience required
· Must be very hands-on, but also able to supervise a team member
· Technical skills inclusive of an ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics) and solid Excel skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to work well across multiple departments and communicate up to the C-level
