About the Role
Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial and data-driven Vice President of Marketing to spearhead growth initiatives across a diverse portfolio of digital products. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a marketing executive who excels in full-funnel strategy, has deep acquisition expertise, and thrives in fast-moving, high-performance environments. The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and hands-on contributor—comfortable owning large-scale initiatives while driving daily execution in a resource-conscious, agile team.
Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition Strategy

Own and optimize strategy and execution across all major customer acquisition channels.

Manage large-scale performance marketing budgets with a focus on ROI and cost efficiency.

Lead structured testing initiatives to continuously refine targeting, creative, and bidding strategies.

Build scalable, efficient campaigns that deliver strong unit economics.
Channel Ownership

Paid Social: Drive advanced targeting, creative testing, and optimization across social platforms.

Organic Social: Create and execute content-led strategies to grow reach and engagement.

Paid Search: Optimize significant ad spend on search platforms for new user acquisition.

SEO: Develop long-term strategies to grow organic traffic and search visibility.

Display Advertising: Lead display and programmatic campaigns with a focus on creative performance and cost control.

Product-Led Growth: Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design features and experiences that organically attract users.

Affiliate & Partnerships: Build influencer and affiliate networks to drive traffic and signups.

Emerging Channels: Evaluate and test new growth opportunities across untapped platforms.
Creative & Messaging

Guide the production and iteration of marketing creatives across formats and channels.

Use research and data to inform message testing, segmentation, and positioning strategies.

Translate insights into effective campaigns and compelling value propositions.
Research & Insights

Lead competitive and customer research to inform go-to-market strategy.

Develop segmentation frameworks and personas to drive acquisition and retention.

Monitor industry trends and adjust positioning as needed.
Leadership & Collaboration

Build and mentor a cross-functional marketing team with a bias for experimentation and accountability.

Manage relationships with agencies and vendors.

Align closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Sales to drive company-wide initiatives.

Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and performance.
Requirements
Experience & Background

12+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 3 in executive roles.

Demonstrated success in scaling acquisition programs and optimizing conversion funnels.

Experience managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets and high-growth targets.

MBA preferred, particularly from a top-tier institution.
Technical Proficiency

Deep understanding of digital marketing analytics and attribution models.

Hands-on experience with advertising platforms and SEO tools.

Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and marketing automation systems.
