Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This role involves managing financial records for a law firm, supporting a mix of on-site and remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented by file number.
• Process approximately 100 checks monthly, including 20 checks from escrow accounts.
• Track and manage rent collection for three small companies with a limited number of tenants.
• Reconcile bank statements to verify the accuracy of financial data.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into QuickBooks Desktop.
• Collaborate with the team to address any discrepancies or questions related to financial records.
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
