Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to oversee and manage payroll operations for a large workforce in Plainview, New York. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a strong background in payroll systems and compliance to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.

Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for approximately 1,000 employees on a biweekly schedule, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, or similar platforms to manage payroll activities.
• Administer employee benefits, including 401k and RRSP contributions, in coordination with payroll.
• Perform audits and reconciliations to ensure payroll data integrity and compliance.
• Generate reports using tools like Crystal Reports to provide insights into payroll operations.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and streamline processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions with professionalism.
• Implement improvements in payroll procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
• Proficiency with payroll software systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, Ceridian, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with accounting functions and benefit administration, including 401k and RRSP.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in auditing and reconciliations.
• Ability to work with reporting tools like Crystal Reports for data analysis.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for handling payroll inquiries.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-volume payroll processes.
