Technical Recruiter – Full-Time, On-Site (NYC)
We're looking for a driven, high-output Technical Recruiter to help rapidly scale a small, high-performing engineering team. This is a critical role in a fast-moving startup that’s already achieved strong product-market fit, profitability, and exceptional early growth—all without relying on traditional marketing or inbound demand.

What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle technical recruiting with a focus on backend, full-stack, and product engineering roles.
- Partner with founders and engineering leaders to grow the team from ~3 to 20+ engineers this year.
- Source, assess, and close top technical talent with urgency and precision.
- Build processes, pipelines, and recruiting infrastructure from scratch, suited for a high-intensity early-stage team.
- Help define what “bar-raising” talent looks like and maintain that standard as the team scales.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a technical recruiter in fast-paced startup environments or top recruiting firms.
- Proven success scaling engineering teams at high-growth startups.
- Comfortable screening for technical depth without needing hand-holding.
- Existing network of top-tier engineers.
- Background from a strong academic institution preferred; technical degree is a plus.
- Willing to work long hours in-office (NYC), fully embedded with the team.
