In this role, you will collect and review required documents, talk with team members and customers, and make sure everything follows both loan rules and deadlines. If you’ve worked in banking, customer service, or fast-paced office settings, this could be a great next step for your career.Role & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success:

  • Communicate with customers, loan officers, brokers, and teammates to keep loan applications on track.
  • Work with different departments and outside companies to gather documents including but not limited to job verifications, tax forms, home appraisals, and title reports.
  • Identify and report anything that doesn’t meet mortgage rules or guidelines.
  • Review incoming emails, faxes, and mail for loan conditions and documents.
  • Check and upload documents into the loan system.
  • Prepare or review reports to make sure information is accurate.
  • Follow rules and requirements to align with company and industry standards.
  • Follow audit and compliance steps to protect customer information.
  • Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the bank brand.
  • Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned to support the mortgage process.

Skills & ExperienceQualifications That Will Help You Thrive

  • HS Diploma or equivalent and at least one year in customer service or related field.
  • Good PC skills with strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and email software programs.
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on information provided.
  • Versatility and flexibility working within an ever changing fast paced mortgage environment.
  • Ability to function independently within time constraints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized and detail-oriented.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Previous mortgage processing experience.
  • Associates degree.
