We are currently seeking a full-time Financial Accounting & Compliance Manager to join our team on-site in Long Island City, Queens. We offer a competitive salary and year-end discretionary bonus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA certification required
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting
- Construction accounting experience a plus
- Experience with CMiC software a plus
Responsibilities will consist of the following:
- Prepare and analyze GAAP internal financial statements
- Monitor and ensure compliance with ESOP regulations, Bank Credit Agreements
- Coordinate all attest work with external CPA firms
- Oversee and monitor the filings of all tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Develop and maintain financial projections to support the business planning and decision making
- This candidate will report directly to the CFO
