We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Syosset, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring seamless order management, effective communication, and exceptional client support. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with internal teams while delivering outstanding service to customers.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately input customer orders into NetSuite and Excel spreadsheets, ensuring all details such as quantities, pricing, and sales representatives are correctly recorded.

• Coordinate with production and shipping teams to accommodate special delivery requirements for customers.

• Arrange weekly shipments by obtaining freight quotes and selecting the most cost-effective carriers.

• Maintain clear communication with internal sales and production teams to address and adjust order details as needed.

• Monitor pending orders through to completion, ensuring shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading (BOL) is obtained for invoicing.

• Build a thorough understanding of product offerings to recommend substitutions when items are unavailable or backordered.

• Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues with professionalism, escalating complex matters to appropriate team members when necessary.

• Set up new customer accounts efficiently in NetSuite to ensure smooth onboarding.

• Track and manage all orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related role.
• Proficiency in order entry systems such as NetSuite and Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for managing customer inquiries and internal coordination.
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently in a call center setting.
• Proven ability to resolve customer concerns with accuracy and professionalism.
• Familiarity with freight and shipping processes, including obtaining quotes and selecting carriers.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for tracking orders and managing documentation.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
