Role Description
We are seeking a Social Media Project Manager preferably based in New York or New Jersey. The Marketing Project Manager will oversee and execute marketing initiatives, manage projects, and ensure timely delivery within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating teams, developing detailed project plans, managing budgets, and building strong communication to ensure projects align with client goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Take full responsibilities for the client projects assigned and ensure client satisfaction
· Guide and train the social media assistants to perform assigned social media tasks
· Coordinate amongst different teams and departments to ensure projects assigned are completed in time and in high quality
· Set up and optimize social media accounts for the clients assigned
· Monitor, track, and report on social media activity
· Create and manage content to post on a daily basis
· Help clients promote in-store and online promotions through social media
· Prepare and deliver promotional presentations and creative writing
· Manage and optimize social media ad campaigns
· Employ analytics techniques to gather important data and create reports
· Assisting with operational and sales tasks
· Keeping the team and clients updated on current tasks
What We are Looking For:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Bilingual (preferred)
· Experience in Food & Beverage in-house marketing is a plus
· Deep understanding of social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Rednote (Xiaohongshu)
· Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and tactfully with clients, managers, and cross-functional teams
· Creative, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
· Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
· Reliable, hardworking, and persistent in driving projects to completion
· Comfortable participating in content creation, including filming and photoshoots; may involve on-camera presence such as acting, modeling, or presenting for client content
Schedule:
· Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (full-time). This role may occasionally require flexibility outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on project needs.
Experience:
· Project Management or Social Media Marketing: 1+ years (Preferable)
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree (preferable)
