Job DescriptionProcurement Analyst
LHH is looking for a Procurement & Contract Specialist to support our client, a consumer products organization with offices in Melville, NY. This person will be handling the RFP process and procurement of necessities for their production facility and offices. Previous Procurement/Buyer experience would be a required. This is a 100% on-site, in-person, temporary position with the potential to go permanent will be pay between $30-36/hr., contingent on experience.
Responsibilities
· Manage the Request for Proposals (RFP) process for vendors including security and maintenance contracts
· Evaluate vendors and maintain relationships to ensure organization is working with appropriate partners
· Handle renewals of agreements and negotiate terms
· Reporting of procurement process with leadership
Minimum Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years of Procurement AND Contract experience
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Project management experience
· Sourcing experience
· Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
