Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years’ experience and practical knowledge of ADP (Workforce Now)
- 1+ years’ experience and practical knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks Online
- Experience creating intercompany reports and merging financial reports
- Comprehensive payroll processing and payroll management experience
- Familiar with basic labor law in NY, NJ, CT, CA
- Practical experience filing sales tax returns for NY, NJ, CT, CA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Well organized and self-motivated
- Comfortable and patient when dealing with international clients and vendors
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word)
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of payroll processing, including hiring, termination, PFL, disability updates
- Process payroll for 200+ employees
- Maintain payroll records
- Prepare records and reports for payroll audits
- Process accounts payables and receivables
- Process sales tax in NY, NJ, CT and CA
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare internal accounting reports
- Maintain the chart of accounts and monthly journal entries
- Book accruals and adjusting entries as needed.
- Maintain an orderly accounting file system
- Consult with our external CPA as needed

Schedule/Location:
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (9-5). In-Person. Office is conveniently located in midtown, two blocks from Grand Central Station, 228 East 45th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue
- Salary: $85,000 annually
