We are looking for a tax preparer to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our clients , which is the every day American .
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management teamKey Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough, friendly in-person interviews with clients using our proprietary tax software
• Prepare and file individual tax returns accurately, ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Deliver exceptional client experiences by anticipating needs and communicating clearly
• Present and explain company products and services using effective selling techniques
• Identify upsell opportunities and educate clients on additional services that meet their needs
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
• Resolve client questions and issues promptly, escalating when necessary
• Support marketing efforts and participate in call campaigns to grow the client base
• Monitor client flow and communicate staffing needs as necessary
• Perform daily audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of tax law
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
