Department: Production
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Location: [Suffolk County Long Island, NY]Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Freezer Packer Operator to join our production team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role is responsible for packaging, labeling, and inspecting frozen products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of food safety, product quality, and workplace safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate in various production areas including packaging, product feeding, and labeling
- Assemble and close boxes, apply tamper seals, and ensure correct labeling and coding
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding tasks and updates
- Complete required production paperwork and documentation
- Adhere to health & safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the work area
- Follow company policies, procedures, and core values
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
- Basic understanding of English (spoken and written)
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting

- Quick learner with strong multitasking abilities
- Able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and energetic
- Flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends
Work Environment:
- Exposure to cold temperatures and freezer conditions
- Fast-paced, loud, and team-oriented production floor
- Standing and repetitive movement for long periods
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
Pay Details: $20.25 per hour
