Demand Planning Manager
We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager for a growing dairy company in Manhattan. This person would be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, leading S&OP cycles, and continuously improving forecasting tools, processes, and cross-functional collaboration. They would drive the demand forecasting process, ensuring strong alignment between Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Location: New York City (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the demand consensus planning process, developing accurate forecasts using SPINS, Nielsen, shipment data, business intelligence, promotional activity, and customer insights
- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Logistics, and Operations to ensure inventory and capacity are aligned with demand signals
- Own the maintenance and optimization of demand planning systems such as NetSuite, Modus, and Parabola
- Own the monthly S&OP process, partnering with customer, supply, and executive stakeholders to review KPIs and align on the final demand forecast
- Develop and monitor KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, and inventory health
- Responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, managing S&OP cycles, and driving continuous improvement across forecasting tools, processes, and cross-functional communication
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree a plus
- 4+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in CPG or food/beverage
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and demand planning systems (experience with NetSuite, Modus, or similar preferred)
- Solid understanding of SOP processes, forecasting methodologies, and inventory management
- Ability to balance big-picture planning with executional detail
