Job DescriptionAbout Us

RavenPack is revolutionizing how professionals in finance and beyond access, search, and act on public information through advanced generative AI, big data analytics, and now, developer-first APIs. With two decades of experience serving elite hedge funds, banks, and asset managers, we’re now launching a suite of next-gen SaaS and API products—including Bigdata.com—that empower data scientists, analysts, and business leaders to move faster with deeper insight.

Join our team and help shape the next wave of intelligent financial infrastructure.

Role Overview

We are looking for a technically fluent Product Marketing Manager with deep experience in API-first products, developer enablement, and technical adoption strategies. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how our Python-based API and SaaS platform are understood, adopted, and championed by developers, engineers, and technical decision-makers.

This position blends strategic insight with hands-on execution across user research, product positioning, developer engagement, campaign execution, and sales enablement. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to package complex API capabilities into clear, compelling narratives and resources that drive adoption.

Key Responsibilities

User Insight & Research:

  • Develop a deep understanding of developer, data science, and technical buyer personas, with secondary attention to financial users as relevant.

  • Conduct ongoing market and competitive research across SaaS, API, and developer tooling categories.

Positioning & Messaging:

  • Articulate technical capabilities of APIs (e.g., Python integration, real-time workflows) and their role in solving customer problems.

  • Communicate both the technical value (e.g., scalability, interoperability) and business outcomes (e.g., efficiency, reduced risk).

Go-to-Market Strategy Execution

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Developer Relations teams to execute targeted GTM plans.

  • Focus GTM strategies on developer adoption, API integration use cases, and technical proof points.

Developer & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as a liaison to early adopters and developer communities, gathering feedback and sharing product updates.

  • Represent the product in developer forums, webinars, events, and technical meetups to build advocacy and momentum.

Content, Campaign Management & Enablement

  • Create technical enablement assets such as API documentation overviews, integration guides, solution briefs, and demo scripts.

  • Manage multi-channel campaigns targeting technical audiences, coordinating closely with Product, Sales, and Growth teams.

  • Ensure messaging is technically accurate, up to date, and aligned with product capabilities.

Sales Support

  • Provide sales teams with toolkits (battle cards, demo scripts, technical FAQs) tailored for technical buyers.

  • Conduct internal briefings on API capabilities, competitive positioning, and integration use cases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or technical evangelism in SaaS, developer tools, or API-first products.

  • Hands-on experience with APIs, either as a user, product owner, or marketer.

  • Strong fluency in Python, data workflows, and real-time integrations; able to communicate confidently with engineers, architects, and executives.

  • Proven track record of supporting product launches targeting developer or technical audiences.

  • Excellent technical storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with API platform companies or developer-focused SaaS products.

  • Experience producing developer-friendly content such as API documentation, code samples, and technical walkthroughs.

  • Knowledge of cloud architectures, integration workflows, and developer onboarding processes.

  • Experience marketing to technical audiences in agile, fast-paced environments.

  • Familiarity with additional programming languages beyond Python.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits tailored to your experience and role.

  • Hybrid work flexibility with 3 days/week in our New York office.

  • A front-row seat to the launch of transformative financial AI and data products.

  • Access to cutting-edge technologies and high-impact projects.

  • A diverse and inclusive workplace with over 29 nationalities represented.

  • Continuous learning support and a culture that values innovation and initiative.
