Job Title: Resolution Planning Project Manager and Data Analytic Specialist (Contract)

Location: New York City

Location: New York, NY (Eastern Time Zone) – Hybrid

Duration: Initial 6-month engagement, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs

Work Location: 1271 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY, 10020

Work Schedule: Hybrid 4 on 10 (business days) then 5 on 10 (business days) in the fall.

Company Team Overview

· The Americas Operational Resilience Department enables the bank to effectively manage business threats and mitigate risk of disruptions. The department ensures readiness of each entity as well as the ability to respond adequately to disruptive events, minimizing the impact on the services delivery of the bank’s critical operations.

· The department addresses both Resilience Transformation and Resilience Operations.

· The transformation aspect encompasses resilience strategy, program execution, and the development of new capabilities across the organization.

· Meanwhile, resilience operations provide visibility and readiness in daily activities, including new product launches, continuity testing, and event or crisis management.

· The functions performed span all lines of business and corporate functions across the Americas region to mitigate risks and disruptions through an efficient and sustainable framework, effectively reducing risk and enabling to meet growing business expectations and regulatory requirements.

Overview:

· Developed a comprehensive Resolution Plan consistent with regulatory obligations. One of the key components of the Resolution Plan is the identification and ongoing maintenance of Resolution Critical Services.

· Document and implement Resolution Planning Critical Services requirements including changes to the existing business continuity planning process and adding quarterly critical services, dependent resources, and key personnel data quality and reconciliation processes.

· Document and execute the new controls and quality checks.

· Coordinate and manage the data consolidated from various golden sources to enable the identification of Resolution Critical Services.

· Optimize and maintain the MS Access database used to aggregate and enrich the Resolution Critical Services dataset.

· Ensure implemented Resolution Critical Services are documented, tested, sustainable and repeatable in the event of the firm was to ever go into resolution.

Position Requirements:

· Years of experience: 5 years, with several years of experience in the financial services industry preferably in an Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Planning capacity

· Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience is a plus

· Proficient in MS Access (queries, forms, reports, VBA)

· Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, VBA)

· Experience in the use of dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, or Excel dashboards)

· Experience writing policy and procedure documents

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Data Working knowledge of US financial services regulatory requirements associated with

· Operation Resilience, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

· Ability to quickly learn about Resolution Planning Critical Services regulatory requirements and how they can be satisfied through Business Continuity Planning activities

· Effective project management skills and proven experience leading and delivering projects

· Must be detail oriented, ability to work independently, and have strong organizational skills

· Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools

· Track project milestones and deliverables

· Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations

· Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Must be able to interact and work efficiently and effectively with all staff across the organization.

· Strong verbal / written communications

· Bachelor’s Degree or greater

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
