Sake ONO's Market Manager, Texas will enhance our brand visibility and drive sales growth. This position requires a dynamic individual who can develop and execute strategic initiatives while collaborating effectively with sales, brand, and field marketing teams. The Senior Market Manager Texas will focus on creating innovative programs that align with our overall brand strategies, aiming to strengthen our market presence and elevate Sake ONO as a leader in retail and on-premise channels.This position will report to the Regional Director of Market, Southeast, and will oversee the Key Account Specialist role.

Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, brand, and field marketing teams to create and execute impactful programs.
  • Create and execute sales strategy for territory.
  • Achieve and grow key account distribution.
  • Develop programming for key accounts to increase sales velocity and achieve sales goals.
  • Align initiatives with overall brand strategies and business objectives.
  • Oversee and manage statewide distributor operations, providing leadership and support to distributor teams to ensure alignment with company goals and achievement of sales objectives.

Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize marketing and sales strategies.

Program Development and Management:

  • Partner and implement innovative marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Manage the execution of programs from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, making adjustments as needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with sales, brand, and field marketing teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to drive alignment and support.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on program performance and market conditions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Team Oversight and Development:

  • Oversee the Key Account Specialist role.
  • Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the alcohol/beverage industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
