Responsibilities
- Support the sales process by preparing quotes and submissions in collaboration with producers
- Work directly with clients during the initial underwriting process to gather necessary information
- Present and explain insurance proposals tailored to client needs
- Coordinate with carrier underwriters and internal marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate quoting
- Communicate effectively with underwriting and rating teams to assess risk and placement options
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, carrier appetite, and coverage specifics
- Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met
- Assist with renewals, coverage modifications, and ongoing account servicing as needed
Requirements
- Valid insurance license required
- Strong working knowledge of commercial lines coverages, industries, and carrier guidelines
- Experience quoting accounts on carrier websites and preparing complete submissions for underwriters
- Ability to secure the required documentation to complete the quoting proces
- Skilled in preparing, presenting, and explaining quotes to clients
- Professional and confident in a client-facing role, working in conjunction with producers throughout the underwriting and sales process
- Comfortable working alongside underwriting, rating, and marketing teams to ensure accurate and competitive placement of business
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
