Our client is a non-profit organization. They seek a temp Sales Representative to join their Brooklyn, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to employers with open job opportunities to generate new leads
- Build partnerships with employers to help program participants find jobs
- Provide career counseling, interview prep, and resume reviews for job-ready participants
- Meet with participants and job seekers to match them with available job opportunities
- Coordinate interviews and conduct follow-ups with candidates sent for job interviews
- Generate sales leads and obtain referrals from current employer partnerships
- Establish new relationships with employer partners, including conducting on-site visits
- Work to meet weekly, quarterly, and annual job placement numbers
- Manage a daily schedule of site visits, appointments, and overall territory management
- Cultivate a safe environment for career development and motivate clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of Business-to-Business Sales experience
- Understanding of workforce development and employment services
- Excellent negotiating, customer service, and cold calling skills
- Passion for working with special and at-risk populations
- Strong communication skills and sound judgment
- Organized, analytical, with a keen attention to detail
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and SharePoint preferred
