Job DescriptionRussell Tobin & Associates is seeking a Finance Analyst to work for our leading global tech client. This role is working onsite in New York, NY. The Financial Analyst will support the Merchant Services Finance team by producing and delivering financial and operational analysis
Pay: $54 - 61 per hour on W2
Duration: 6 months - contract with possible extensions
Schedule: M – F, regular business hours

Required Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field (Masters Ideal)
• 5+ years of relevant finance experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel ( Advanced knowledge of VlookUP, Pivot Tables, Summits)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SQL is a strong plus
• Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting their findings to senior management.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities:
• Support internal customer groups and controller in all finance and accounting matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking and control
• Work with the functional leaders and other finance partners to build scalable financial processes and business metrics• Provide financial and business analysis to site leaders and business partners including cost-saving and process improvement recommendations
• Assist in strategic operational planning process addressing identified risks and opportunities for business team
• Write systems queries to gather finance data and perform data-mining and analysis using tools including MS Excel, Cognos/Essbase and SQL.
