Overview
CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Customer Service Coordinator II.
Type: Contract

Location: Erwin, NY
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Erwin, NY
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am–5pm
Education: Associate degree required with 2+ years of customer service-related experience
Description
The Customer Service Coordinator II will actively engage with customers to deliver pre- and post-sales support, provide specialized pricing for non-standard items, and ensure the timely handling of service and repair requests. This role requires effective communication with both internal departments and external customers to facilitate smooth operations and address technical challenges. The individual will serve as a knowledgeable representative of the organization and will be expected to work collaboratively to resolve customer needs.
Requirements:
• Conduct customer intakes on delivery, service, and communication
• Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and implement service improvements
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality
• Resolve issues related to production, delivery, and billing inquiries
• Maintain daily interaction with various functions such as accounting, manufacturing, and shipping
• Accurately process and review work orders and sample requests
• Ensure proper documentation of customer, product, pricing, and delivery information
• Proactively identify and address potential issues
• Ensure alignment between customer requirements and product specifications
• Professionally represent the company in all communications
• Coordinate expedited manufacturing and delivery with internal planners and logistics
• Handle customer accommodations independently with appropriate judgment
Required Qualifications
Education:
• Associate degree required with 2+ years of customer service-related experience
Qualifications:
• Customer service and/or logistics experience in a similar environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proven ability to build relationships with internal/external customers
• Effective negotiation and issue resolution skills
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Desired Skills:
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Supply Chain systems, or equivalent
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and technical documents
