LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in Melville to identify an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work onsite. This is a direct hire opportunity, and the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will work both independently and collaboratively. Salary $65-$76K annually.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable across multiple divisions, including invoicing, collections, and cash postings.
· Generate and deliver sales invoices upon customer order shipments, ensuring alignment with purchase order terms.
· Ensure timely delivery of invoices via mail and electronic methods.
· Resolve customer-related issues such as sales credits in coordination with Sales Support, Production Control, and Shipping teams.
· Provide weekly cash receipts forecasts to support management’s cash planning and assist Division Controllers with 13-week cash forecasts.
· Collect and maintain customer sales tax certificates on an as needed and annual basis.
· Settle intercompany sales invoices monthly.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
· 5 plus years of experience in billing, payment application, and other AR functions.
· Proven ability to handle high-volume transactions across multiple customers and databases.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems.
· Experience in a shared service model is preferred.
