About the Role
MediaRadar is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives focused on driving new business and expansion within our MediaRadar platform, focusing on Publishers and Media Sellers. This hybrid role combines strategic selling and team management—perfect for a player-coach who can hit personal revenue goals while mentoring a team to meet and exceed theirs.
You will be directly responsible for your own book of business while managing, coaching, and developing a team of Account Executives. You’ll play a key role in scaling our sell-side go-to-market strategy, driving consistent execution, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance sales culture. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned seller looking to step into (or deepen) a leadership role while maintaining an individual sales focus.
Requirements
What You’ve Done:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, preferably in SaaS, data/analytics, or adtech solutions.
- Demonstrated success in selling to media companies or similar clients on the sell-side.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring other sales professionals (formally or informally), with a strong interest in people development.
- Track record of managing complex sales cycles, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing high-impact partnerships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
- Proficient in Salesforce or other CRMs; committed to disciplined pipeline and activity tracking.
- Highly motivated, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed individual annual sales targets by closing new business and growing existing accounts within your assigned territory or vertical.
- Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers at senior levels, navigating complex organizational structures to create comprehensive, strategic sales plans.
- Develop tailored pitches and proposals that clearly articulate the value of MediaRadar’s sell-side solutions.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline through consistent prospecting, outreach, and follow-up.
- Stay on top of industry trends and client needs, ensuring your solutions align with evolving market demands.
- Track pipeline, activities, and outcomes in Salesforce with strong sales hygiene and accurate forecasting.
Team Management Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Account Executives selling MediaRadar’s sell-side solutions, supporting them in opportunity strategy, pipeline development, and deal execution.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and team check-ins to review pipeline, coach performance, and troubleshoot challenges.
- Support onboarding and training of new AEs, fostering early success and adoption of best practices.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching, helping team members develop selling skills, client relationships, and territory strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to align team efforts with broader company goals.
- Serve as the first line of support for escalations, cross-functional collaboration, and internal resourcing to help team members close deals effectively.
- Contribute to a strong team culture that values excellence, accountability, and integrity.

This is a full-time exempt role with a base salary range of $130,000-$150,000, plus benefits. A final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience, and the Company's pay equity.
