Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and highly adaptable Assistant to support the Director of Operations in a growing home care agency. This role is critical in ensuring that the Director’s time and priorities are effectively managed, while also supporting day-to-day operations across departments. The Assistant will take on a wide variety of tasks, from administrative duties to communication with staff, caregivers, and external partners.
This is a role for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable with “doing what needs to be done” to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct support to the Director of Operations with daily administrative tasks.
• Handle data entry, recordkeeping, and report preparation.
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare agendas/notes.
• Coordinate and communicate with caregivers, marketers, and other departments.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist with client or staff inquiries.
• Help with onboarding, introductions, and internal communications.
• Support the Director with special projects, problem-solving, and operational needs as they arise.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Flexible, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous administrative or operations support experience (healthcare or home care experience is a plus)
