Job Summary
We need an experienced Bookkeeper to handle all financial record-keeping for our business. Youll manage day-to-day transactions, maintain ledgers, prepare tax documents, and ensure complianceall with a high level of accuracy. The right candidate is independent, detail-focused, and comfortable working without an accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Reconcile Bank Statements and credit card transactions
- Preparing and issues checks
- Maintain general ledger accounts
- Prepare financial statements and work with external CPA firm for tax return
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous5+ years experience as an bookkeeper
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
